Step by Step Gradient Nail Tutorial

Since I lent my money on some mobile bar business fund, I don't think I can buy a camera any time soon so I'll just gonna have to do a photo tutorial of my gradient nail. Sorry for the quality of the picture... I only used my cellphone's camera for that.
Step 1: Start with you base color. Let it dry.
Step 2: Put a small amount of your gradient color on a sponge or on plastic plate then damp the sponge.
Step 3: Damp the sponge from the tip of the finger going up ( depending on how high you want the fading to be)
Step 4: Repeat step 3, but stop a little lower than the first shade.
Step 5: Repeat step 4, but stop a little lower than the previous shade so you can get the fading effect.
Step 6: Apply a top coat to even out the roughness and give a shine to your nails.

Lame huh? Yeah... I'm lame.

I love the pastel shades of this gradient nail art. Teal, pink and glittery gold! I can't wait to show how I did it. I'm just saving for a camera so I can do some video tutorial on nail arts. I think I got too excited and made a youtube account for that, though I still don't have any videos in my channel. I hope I can buy a camera soon. Last February(2011), I decided to make my excessive addiction to baking a business. Thus Sweet Love was born! I sold this sweet designed cake balls to my office mates. They loved it and I got body aches for the rest of the week.

A lunch at Pepper Lunch

My chicks look effing fat in this pic. lol Anyway, this was the first time we eat at Pepper Lunch. And I ordered the cheapest! LOL Well, it's their best seller anyway... (coz its the cheapest XD)

I had fun eating it. I was like a child playing some cooking game. but it was no fun when I finger touched the pan. So freaking hot! Anyway, the taste was awesome! If I had mix it earlier it'll be more flavorful, but I was busy taking pictures first. XD

Bubble Tea

I love Tokyo Bubble Tea... well except for their honey dew melon bubble tea. ugh! tastes like perfume to me. But other than that, i love everything else.. especially their California makis! YUM!!! I nearly choke the first time I took a piece in my mouth. It was too big for my mouth, but I didn't mind. It was so tasty!

Pretty cute huh? Can you believe that I just made that? Yes... I did it myself! I figured that its better to make my own cakes than buying one... And it's much more cheaper. Since I love learning new stuffs, its always pretty exciting for me to learn how to bake. I just search how on the web... It's a bit messy, but with practice, I think I can improve the looks... lol

This picture is taken after I shampooed my hair. You know the rules. You cannot shampoo your hair within 3 days after the process.

This is me with the rods and some cushiony heat protector. Time for the alien medusa look!

Tada! Aren't I a cute alien medusa.... lol pretty funny look... Well... a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do...

Me and my hubby enjoy their house drinks. Milk tea for me! It was really good. I was surprised that it taste good.

I paid Php2000 for the digiperm since it was on promo. But I had to add an additional Php2800 for my hair treatment so my hair won't get damaged.

What does 'Pooritas' mean?
Well it came from the word "poor". Philippine gay lingo term "poorita". Add 's' to make it plural... What's the word?

Why Pooritas?
Umm... because I'm poor? lol Well, not that poor. Let's just say I'm one of those who can't afford those super expensive fashion stuffs. And if ever I can afford it, I will always look for alternatives to save money. Talk about sale, bargain stuffs... pre-loved items... smart buying...

So what is fashion for pooritas?
It is basically a fashion for 'not so rich girls' like me. I'm not being bitter here, I'm just embracing the fact that "I can't afford everything and life won't always go as I want it to", but there's always a way look good without spending too much. Of course it's really addicting to shop. SHOPPING!!!

What love like?
Love is CRAZY! lol But yeah... I'm crazy. I do play around a lot. I love shopping, eating, sleeping, watching, playing with my tongue, online window shopping, doing nail arts, dressing up, putting make up(even at home), hula hooping... And fun stuffs.

What's here to see?
My craziness of course! lol Well I know there's a lot of pretty girls out there like me, whose sometimes frustrated about the world and why! how come we can't always buy what we want?! Oh well, the least we can do is to waste our time crying over that kind of things. Or, we can try to maximize the things we have.

So I'm here to share how to be fashionable with less expenses. And also share some interesting cute stuffs that collect from my daily encounters! Hope you have fun with my blog!
